Python Job: Buildings Sustainability Graduate (Design Analytic

Your responsibilities:

As a Graduate Sustainability Consultant, you would be working closely with experienced sustainability consultants to:

• Undertake Thermal and Building Regulation Compliance modelling using IESVE, Grasshopper and/or other software
• Assist with development and deployment of advanced modelling techniques & tools to support early design stage building performance analytics
• Prepare and input to decarbonisation strategies for buildings with respect to both operational and embodied carbon
• Represent Arup at meetings with the client, other consultants and/or contractors
• Prepare reports, presentations and site reports

We seek the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (NFQ Level 8/9 or equivalent and recognised by Engineers Ireland to permit future Chartership )
• 2021/2022 graduate
• Prior experience or internships in the field of building performance analytics (energy, carbon, comfort, etc.)
• Knowledge of Python scripting
• Passion for sustainability & design analytics
